Posting WordPress Blog to Facebook Page

This plugin allows you to publish the title of your WordPress post as the status of your Facebook business page or profile. You can set it up so each WordPress author can setup their own Facebook access.

Steps to set up this pulgin:

  1. In your WordPress admin go to: Plugins > Add New
  2. Search for the plugin name “FT FacePress II”
  3. Activate Plugin
  4. Under the “Settings” menu choose “FacePress II Admin”
  5. Follow instructions on page to finish

WordPress to Twitter

WordPress to Twitter plugin lets you posts a your blog post into your Twitter stream.  It also lets you set up tweets to become blog post.

Additional features:

  • Use tags as Twitter hashtags
  • Use alternate URLs in place of post permalinks
  • Support for Google Analytics

Any status update you write which is longer than the available space will automatically be shortened by the plugin. This applies to both the default messages and to your custom messages.

A great way to make the homepage for your blog much cleaner looking.
Download the plugin “Limit Post Options”

  1. Login to WordPress Admin, then under “Plugins” choose “Add New“
  2. Search for “Limit Post Options“
  3. Install and Activate the Plugin.
  4. Go to “Settings” and choose “Limit Post Options” -  In here you can set the character limit, word count limit, and more.  I recommend you use the default “First Paragraph” then choose “home” so it will only effect the homepage of your blog.
